RN Clinical Supervisor/ Quality


The HealthCare Connection, a non-profit healthcare center in Cincinnati, is seeking an RN/BSN responsible for clinical oversight, training, data collection and reporting,   ensure compliance with FTCA guidelines, applicable laws, grant requirements and best practices.  This position may have clinical duties as needed, applying nursing process to care needs of individual patients and populations with chronic disease.  Lead initiatives to improve coordination of internal and external communication among provider entities.  
Periodic audits/ site inspection to ensure proper handling of vaccines, appropriate clinical practices and record keeping.
Enforcement/ training in HIPPA guidelines and assisting with efforts to improve EHR protocols and implementation of levels.
Submitting periodic reports (quantitative and narrative) on measures of activity and outcomes; maintain data repository, formulate statistical and narrative reports
Researching professional literature for current guidelines and best practices in standards of care
Collaborate with CMO, Quality and Practice Managers to achieve best practices for PCMH.
Serving as role model for customer orientation, clinical excellence, interpersonal communications
Facilitating organizational improvements in clinical process and outcome measures, compliance with standards of care and clinical guidelines
Developing and conducting staff training as appropriate and necessary
Maintaining appropriate budget information as indicated for any applicable operating, capital, or grant funds
Coordinating/performing / tracking/audits as appropriate for regulatory or other reporting  requirements
Representing organization to external entities
Performing related work as required, in accordance with license, certification and training when providing direct patient care.
Education Requirements:  Must possess current ohio license to practice as registered nurse; Masters Degree preferred;
Experience Requirements:  3-5 years of experience in clinical oversight, compliance and reporting.  Prefer experience in ambulatory care or clinical health setting with working knowledge of healthcare infrastructure; proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and use of EHR, spreadsheets, reporting tools required;  ability to travel locally to other sites expected, strong communication skills required,  ability to collaborate and work well in teams required,  non – profit healthcare experience preferred but not essential.  
Demonstrated performance of broad clinical/nursing expertise; proven leadership skills, including excellent verbal and written communication, service orientation ,trusting relationships, and initiative;  demonstrated ability to facilitate team or group activities, knowledge of performance assessment principles and research process; ability to provide effective staff education; ability to be flexible and to prioritize in complex situations; ability to maintain confidentiality with all forms of sensitive information; ability to work well with persons of diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
